Well I've decided to do it...... No dates or race times have been set, but the cars have been selected and built. The above cars are all in it (NSX not pictured), and I'll post a follow up for exact years/models.

Essentially, all cars have between 415-500 HP, they all use sport tires (except one), and they all have the drivetrain type that they were built with. All cars are tuned to be competetive with eachother, and parts will only be altered to suite driver ability. They all have adjustable gearing, suspension, and brakes. None of these cars use Forza aero parts.

Thoughts? Suggestions for tracks and/or times?

No but they could be  Cool

Surprising enough, only 2 of the cars I have built are a handfull to control, I hope to sort those issues out. The rest of the group is very easy to drive.

Alright, all the builds are on my storefront.... Essentially the builds on the first page are all for this series. But here is the actual list.....

1997 Mitsubishi GTO/3000GT
1994 Nissan Fairlady Z/300ZX Version S Twin Turbo
1998 Toyota Supra RZ
1997 Mazda RX-7
1997 Acura NSX
1998 Subaru Impreza 22B STi
1997 Skyline GT-R V-Spec
1995 Porsche 911 GT2
1997 BMW M3
1999 Dodge Viper GTS ACR
1995 Ford Mustang Cobra R
1996 Chevy Corvette Grand Sport

All the cars are very close, some with strengths in different areas, but overall a good base. They may change slightly as more testing goes on. I will say that the M3 and the RX7 are a handfull, I would reccomend those two for more advanced drivers. Other than that, the rest of the cars are very easy to drive, and very neutral feeling.

As far as tracks, I would like to suggest:

Road America
Tsukuba
Sunset Peninsula
Sedona Club
Sebring
Indy GP
Road Atlanta Whatever (the shorter version)
Silverstone Middle (not the long one or the short one)

Well to be honest, I wouldn't replace the 3000GT with the Stealth, that just seems backwards to me..... To further be honest, I don't really want to put the Stealth in with this group. I tried to have something for everyone which is why the Viper is in representing Dodge, and the GTO/3000GT is representing Mitsubishi, instead of the Stealth representing something inbetween Dodge and Mitsubishi.

In addition, I would prefer that everyone pick something from the list thats different and not run a bunch of cars that are fundamentally the same.

But... if you can buy off enough people and/or exchange sexual favors for them to say they want it in there, I'll consider it.

Fair enough. I'd have probably chosen the Viper anyway, I prefer the feel of RWD to AWD. Thanks for at least giving it some thought and an explanation - that sure is a lot nicer than a "no GFY." Smile

Oh don't worry, there is no shortage of GFY to spread around.....

Drive the AWD cars, I think you will be surprised; they don't really understeer much. In contrast, you can actually throttle induce oversteer on the Subaru.

Still need to iron out a couple cars, but I think they are all where they need to be for the most part.

But, I think for point structure, we'll use the PWC system for simplicity.

Check it here......
https://forzaroadracing.forumotion.com/t324-points-structure

There is a lot of discussion in there, so remember its just the point values in red.

Race layout I'm still deciding on, but I'm thinking 45 min. race times, standing start, limited damage, 10 min. qualifying before hand. As far as race date/start, I kind of want to wait until maybe begining of February to avoid conflicting with Hired's Raptor race.

Sweet, I need to get back into the Forzas now that the holiday is over.  Been a busy one!

My PRIMARY options are these three:
1996 Chevy Corvette Grand Sport
1997 Mitsubishi GTO/3000GT
1997 Acura NSX

And these 3 are my back ups:
1998 Subaru Impreza 22B STi
1997 Skyline GT-R V-Spec
1995 Porsche 911 GT2

Got the tracks up. Still need to determine the number of laps, but they will be based off of a 45 min. race length.

No particular order yet but here they are...

Camino Full (or Extreme if everyone wants it)
Hock National Circuit
Indy GP
Infineon NASCAR
Sedona Club
Laguna Seca
Tsukuba Full
Sebring Club
Road America
Nurburg GP Club
Sunset Full
Iberian Full Reverse

Trying to have a balance of shorties and speed tracks, plus some odd ones. Same shit gets boring over and over...

Update....

Anyone that wants one of my builds unlocked so they can tune it just let me know and I'll gift it, or you can reverse engineer it yourself. There are a couple guidlines I wish for everyone to stay within once you have an unlocked car:

-Keep all the power, platform, and drivetrain parts untouched. I don't want you to change a driveshaft part to compensate for a flywheel change or clutch change.

-I am allowing you to change body parts to your preference, but NO Forza aero parts.

-I will allow wheel changes as well, but please do not go for a wheel that drops 40 lbs. off the car, keep it to a 10 lb. maximum weight loss when changing wheels. Or if you end up changeing body parts that add weight, I will allow you to offset the same amount of weight with a wheel change.

-Tuning will be open.

As for keeping the field even durring the season, it will be similar to the PWC set-up. If you walk away from the field every race, I will slow you down. If you place dead last all the time, I will speed you up. I will do this in whatever way I see fit; bucket usage, parts change and in most extreme situations a tuning change. I never had to resort to tuning changes in PWC and I doubt I will have to with this one, but it is on the table.

I will try to be as fair as possible; I don't want it to mean that if I slow you down you won't be able to win the race, it will just be harder to.

It will be opened up on the night after Hired's Raptor race. I will also post up a sign up on NSA's site, but will update them with racers from both sites.

Ok, I'm looking to set this thing for Thursdays or Fridays @ 8pm or 9pm EST.

The start date would be either February 6th or 7th. Give me some feedback on both the days and times, to my knowledge it doesn't interfere with anything NSA has going on those two days.
