How awesome does this look!!??

This is street stock racing which is one of the cheapest ways to get into racing. This track is asphalt and it's less than 2 hours from where I live.....hmmmmmmm. I guess I better start saving!

A few things:
  • That is so not my cup of tea … though it still looks FUCKING FUN!
  • Whip out the ol' elephant, put 1 or 2 more buns in the wifey and in about 15 years you'll have your own support group (spotter, tire changer, and refueler)
affraid Ha ha. He said, what!?

Hey, I'd love to go road racing, but how much does that cost? They have several events at that circle track per week from April to October. That's some seat time!

Road racing = quite a bunch o' $.

My friend started in Pro-7 and then went to Spec Miata and those have been a drain on him. 12A rotary engines and 1.6L Miata engines are cheap, it's all those other things which add up.

Dooo it. That looks incredibly fun.

The only race I have uploaded of myself racing, my wife taking video (explains quality) with our digital camera. I ran a '90 Civic that I guess was cheated up a bit, but at the time I was about the least cheated up of all the cars. Dirt track racing in gutted out 4 cylinder cars is far cheaper than street stocks, at least out here. Considering with the street stocks all the cars I saw were tube chassis, most of those were Monte Carlo body style.

For sure not my thing. I never liked those short course roundy-rounds. I would rather race the drag strip, cheaper still.....

I would love to try and do some real CMC or AI though.

Dude! Yeah! If you have the space, $4k for a built race car? It's a no-brainer. Dooo it!
