Here's the spring I used to mod the throttle pedal pressure. As you can see, it's dirt cheap, plus it's easy to install.

I also smoked the wall around the entire track, and the entire right side of my car! That was nowhere near a legit lap, I just found out the lap before that that when against the wall in a turn, I can keep the hammer down and go fast. So that's what I did for the entire next lap, ride the wall and not lift cheers

So I played iRacing today. My roomate has it, and he let me try it out.

It was a no clutch set-up, but it was still cool, he has the GT wheel. It was fun, so different from Forza....

There are things I don't like about it though, and the whole setting up a PC just for that game is not something I plan on doing.

I drove the FR500S and the Ford GT around Road Atlanta and Laguna Seca. That GT was loads of fun, but damn does the ass come around in a hurry if you fuck with it.

I'm so derned close to a ready rig. Just one good graphics card and a G27 wheel+pedal set away from jumping on. Typing on my new pc as we/I/ya'll/youse/us speak.. just can't run iRacing to spec at the moment.

Phase 1. complete. It runs, it goes, it's not yet powerful enough to run iRacing. got a hand me down video card, but it's out dated. I can run rFactor demo and Grand Prix Legends maxed out (which is AWESOME).

3 wide at charlotte... the indy series is a ton of fun so far! I like that they do cautions... that is if I'm not the cause.

Heck yeah Sorta, nice to see you running the Indy car! I haven't bought it yet, I'm too wrapped up in stockcars. Speaking of, just had a freaking EPIC race at Dega in the Nationwide, finished 2nd.....by about one hundredth of a second. I wish I had some video editing software, I'd post some highlights. I can't imagine the fun we'd all have in these cars, we have a blast on Forza.

Nice Tux! The indy car at charlotte is nuts! 217+ in the draft and lots of really close racing. The car sticks everywhere and you only lift to keep from running the guy in front over.

I ran a few A licence practice sessions at dega. What a blast! I was having a heck of a time drafting and holding steady. Forced me to take a look at my wheel setup and I've since adjusted it up to 900 deg (from 460) and some force feedback adjustments. Wow, what a difference! It's still tough to bump draft but much easier to hold the line at dega and for the indy cars. Haven't tried road cars yet, but hoping it helps there too.

Oh yeah, bump drafting takes some getting used to. Once you get the feel, it's so much fun. There's something addicting about driving at 200mph and all you can see is a spoiler.

So I discovered a negative for iracing today... lined up outside front row for the restart after a caution and the leader spun his tires and went through the infield before the start finish line... I had to serve a stop go penalty (green flag only) for his mistake because I "passed" him before the start finish!

That sucks. Something similar happened to me in the trucks. I've only seen it that one time, but it does suck.
