Gah, technology.

Post  Remaggib on Thu Jan 10, 2013 6:46 pm

I need to find an app for iPad, specifically iPad 2, that is a spreadsheet that has the option for me to hand write on the screen, and have it converted to text. I know the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 has such a feature, but I decided to spend $100 less, and get probably more, with an iPad. While I may not have gotten more, I did get an iPad, which I will be using for work. However, I need a spreadsheet with at least 6 columns available, and a lot of rows, where I can write on the screen. This is to save me time from the slow typing of the touch screen. I have to use the thing for inspections and whatnot in units, and a keyboard is out of the question considering I need to walk with, and hold, the iPad during the inspection. Anyone have any ideas? If you know, or if you have a friend that knows, please share the knowledge, and you'll receive 200 Jake points*.

*Disclaimer: Jake points are pretty much useless in all 50 states, Mexico, and Canada. They may be redeemable for a back rub in several third world countries, however participation in the Jake points program varies by region. For a limited time only. Tax, title, and other fees may apply.

Oh we can do better than that. Look up Dell E207WFP monitors.

They're 20" widescreen and they're old enough now you can find them each for less than 125 dollars. 20" each screen ×3 screens and you should have plenty of fun.
