Yea I was watching that feed last night during the sprint cup emergency practice just to keep tabs on the race. Sound was amazing in the Bose earbuds I have. That Vette sounds so damn good. Next year will be so good with Corvette out for redemption and SRT looking to make a statement as well. Makes me want to go race some GT and LMP cars on Forza now haha! Good find Sorta!

I don't have speed so the internet link I posted was my only portal into the race. Apparently the Vette's were leading up to the 10th hour. I couldn't find any good articles on what happened. Why did the Vette's fall behind?

Yea youre correct with the Vettes there Sorta. The 74 spun and had some repairs that took em out and the 73 I believe was the Vette that they missed a lug on the rear(Passanger I think) and had to drag the car the entire way around the track back to pit lane and the repairs and time lost nursing around the track killed em. Was freakin awesome to watch the 73 and Aston Martin go back and forth in one of the most expensive games of leap frog.

Yea Tux I agree that Audi flat out told Toyota to bite the curb cause they stomped em something fierce and also they showed they had drivers that made less mistakes along with the Audi cars showing superior durability as well. Was scary seeing the Toilet errr Toyota dive under the 458 at the end of the Mulsane straight and end up airborne like that. The other Toyota screwed to poor lil Delta Wing that to be honest looks like this:


The Delta Wing is rather phallus shaped! All in all a pretty great race to watch.

Thanks for the 411 Squid. Sucks they lost from unforced errors in the pits. They usually do well there. Maybe this will rattle their cages enough to get them to snap too for the rest of the ALMS series.

I agree with you on the delta dong. I don't get that car at all. I thought they already had a Prototype series designed to be affordable running LS3 motors.

Well the Delta Wing was Dan Gurneys plan for the Indy Racing League. But since IRL went with the Dallara design, Dan and Co set their sights on Le Mans with the financial backing of a bunch of privateers. Only cool thing about it all was to see Dario Franchitti magically shave his head and race the Delta wing as well as his Indy car back in Ohio. Lol Im not buyin that thats the so call Morino. Youd think the brothers were twins haha.
