Hey guys, season 2 ends on July 22.  I'm putting the feelers out to see what you guys might be interested in running.  Also, I want to see what days/times would be best for all/most.  So, all of my iRacing brethren, post below to let me know what you want to do, and what you can do.  Here are some ideas:

-NASCAR B Class series on oval and road courses
-NASCAR C Class on oval
-some form of stock car on short tracks only
-Spec Miata on road courses
-Mustang on road courses
-V8 Supercars on road courses
-Indy Car road/oval

I'm game to do all mentioned above.  If you guys have another idea, let's hear it.  Also, pick a few from above so we can see what's most popular.  Once we get homed in on something, I'll put a post up on the iRacing forum to gauge interest and get some more racers.  I want us, not a stranger, to pick what we do first though.

I don't have the Supercars, and I don't think I have the Indy car either. I'm not very fond of the Mustang, it's just too wiley for me. Lately I've been running a TON of Miata races, just something about it I dig. The B and C class NASCAR cars are ok, but with how I can't set them up I don't like going fast with them.

I'd vote as my #1 vote the Miata.
#2 (pretty much tied with #1) Multi-class with Solstice, Jetta, and Miata
#3 NASCAR C
#4 NASCAR B

1 - v8 supercar
2 - nascar b or c
3- spec miata

also why not do v8 supercar on ovals too. i have heard of other people running v8's on the ovals in iracing.

I'm down for class b or C on ovals.  Second to that the mustang or miata on road courses.  Heck the mustang might be entertaining on ovals... lol

I will stipulate I'm not sure how much I'll be able to partake as I'm selling my house and moving this month.  I'll also be starting classes in August, so again not sure how much time I'll have for the remaining of summer/fall.

Thanks Maxx!  Sorta, that's fine.  Whatever you can do.  There's still plenty of time before I start this.  This is just my preliminary post to gauge which route we'll take first.

I'm getting a vibe that we both want road and oval. but also a semi sorta stable car to drive as well... So I'd throw in my vote for the NASCAR C class trucks road/oval.

After talking to some of you and weighing the options, I've decided that a Miata series would be a good starting point for our iRacing series.  Could you guys give me a general idea of the days of the week, and times you would be available to do official practices and races.  I will most likely schedule in some break weeks too, so keep that in mind if you have some dates you know you won't be able to race.

*Edit: Sim, this is not starting yet, so you may have time to get in on this.  I will try to include a majority of tracks that come with the subscription.
