Great stuff Tux, nice job holding that high grove and by Matt Kenseth to push you to the line, another 5 ft it was yours.
Sorry man, but that paint scheme is just hideous, I may have to join iRacing just to set up a paint shop.

Thanks Maxx! That race was really fun and the guy in the 20 car was a great teammate.
And yes, my livery isn't all that great, I would love to sport one of your awesome ones. Some liveries I just slapped on, that was one of them. One thing Forza has on iRacing is the in-game livery editor. Having said that, the possibilities are endless on iRacing if you download schemes on tradingpaints.com. Guys use photoshop to make them and some are amazing.

So using their templates to design your own (with a graphic design program), you have to upload it through TradingPaints (or other authorized portal) for the rest of the room to see it?
Re: iRacing Videos
I know I've had someone offer to make me a couple paint schemes, and that was before the new version of the car paint area was out with the template downloading and whatnot. It was pretty slick. I had to put it in whatever certain folder and I could see it, but everyone else would just see whatever my car looked like in the paint shop. Hopefully it's easier now, but yeah Max you totally should get on iRacing to show off your paints. I could even gift you some iRacing credit, which is worth something. Unlike the Forza credits, which are worthless. At least the iRacing credit is 1 to 1 with the US dollar!

No, if you've uploaded a livery to your car, it can be seen in the sim, regardless of who has it.

Here's another video of me running some practice in the Nationwide car at Road America. Maxx, I like my livery a little better in this one. Enjoy the look and sound of a stock car on a road course!

Nice race at Dega Tux, that was an epic finish! How do you keep from overheating there? Do you just swap out like at practice every once and a while?
Oh my gosh you have to slow down so early in that car at road america! I don't think I've even tried a nascar on a road course yet... guess I need to get on that.

Thanks. Yeah, you must manage your temps at the restrictor plate tracks when bump drafting. The 20 car and I worked together swapping the whole race. It just worked out that I was in front when coming to the finish and his best chance at a higher finish was staying glued to my bumper.
Yes, you absolutely need to slow down early in the stock cars. I could have pushed a bit more as well, however I never even tweaked the setup for grip, just gearing. It's so fun driving those beasts on road courses. I think the B car is probably the most fun out of the stock cars for road courses. The Gen6 is a freaking animal!

Hey Max, if you have Photoshop or something like that, you can paint our cars without having the program, I think. We can download the templates and send them to you to paint, I just have no clue how to put them on my car once painted lol
