I'm on a mission to save kids through video games, and I need your help.

My local Children's Miracle Network Hospital treats thousands of children each year, regardless of their family's ability to pay. These kids are facing scary stuff like cancer, cystic fibrosis, and injuries from accidents to name just a few

On Oct. 20th, 2012, I'll attempt to play an epic 24 hour video game marathon and it's my sincere hope that you'll find it in your heart to support me with a monthly pledge or one-time gift that will go directly to my hospital.

Last year, Extra Life raised more than 1.2 million dollars to save kids, but in 2012 our goals, just like the needs of the kids we serve, are much, much higher.

Then simply click on the Support Me button at the bottom and follow the donation instructions on the page. Any amount you feel is fair is awesome and there is a staggered tier or a custom amount to choose from. Hopefully some of you will be able to help me out on this. I play this weekend for 24 hours from Noon to Noon Saturday to Sunday.

Dude it was a freakin blast!!! We had a large living room filled with five screens and four XBOXs and a Wii. About 15 people were there but only 9 of us were in it for the full 24. Played CoD MW3 multiplayer, HALO Reach multiplayer, helped a friend blast through the entire Mass Effect 1 all night while trying to watch the Petit LeMans on ESPN app and the Huskers football game. Basically how crazy our races can be but with 5 more aholes like me making a shit ton of absurd statements! Slept through the Cup race though since it started about the time Id been up for 30 hours.

But yea if you want I think you can still just follow the link above to donate. We raised close to a grand I think so far.

Yea like I was trying to tell Tux in the last sentence - Check the link in the original post and follow the step or two from the OP and boom. Great thing is there is no worries about the money getting to the kids since its all done online and setup by the national charity. Pretty damn cool. Ive never been into the whole walk or run type charities cause Im a lazy ahole but any excuse to get a group together and game and drink for a weekend is something Id do every month!
