Basic Conduct
While racing is an often aggressive and highly competitive sport, all American Iron racers must remember that, at the end of the day, we are all on the same team. Look at this excerpt from the real American Iron Series handbook:
This does not mean we're supposed to treat the racing as if we're in rare historic cars - their just pixels, after all. Bumping will happen and you won't be expected to break out the "Mother's," "Zaino," and "Armor-All" after the event to thoroughly clean your car.
Don't punt someone out of your way for position. If a collision as such does happen and you're at fault, give back the position and try not to make it a habit.
By all means, have fun, but be respectful of others, and try to minimize all indecent and incendiary remarks. We want clean races and clean conversations, and it will take everyone's participation to ensure that we acheive these goals.Chances are, if it is something you wouldn't do or say at the dinner table with your family, it doesn't need to be said or done here.
Rememeber, we come from broad ranges of backgrounds, ages, and races, but we are all here for the same reason - but we ALL enjoy good, clean racing!
If it is determined that your attitude or actions are not becoming, either on the forums, in the races, or otherwise, you will be eliminated from the series. It is that simple.
