After tickets and three days' worth of round-trip commuting for Tudor I didn't think I'd have enough resources to attend this, but I b goin'.

Can-Am and Trans-Am and GT, OH MY! I am definitely going to get my aural orgasms both days and shall bring back some detailed photos to help in livery creation. Ha! Well that's a dangling modifier, isn't it? No, I'm not going to take detailed photos of me having aural orgasms, the photos will be of the cars.

Bit of a downer: I saw the Posey Challenger in paddock and hot pit. It wasn't being worked on but it did not come out for the afternoon qualifying session. I hope that means they're saving it for the race. Also, the 'Cudas didn't make the trek from Texas or Arizona. I think they only come play at the San Diego and Salinas (Laguna Seca) events [plus I don't know what happened after the 2010 'Cuda/Camaro mixer at Laguna Seca].

More tomorrow and in the coming days.

I finally sized, processed, and © my pictures from May 17th & 18th. Enclosed are 250 samples of my weekend shooting at Sears Point.
My apologies in some of the stitched images for parallax. I had a tripod with me but didn't use it in the paddock.
These guys are already "hundreds of thousands-aires" or possibly even millionaires just to afford these cars. However, to race them for as long as I'd like to see, they'd have to be billionaires. As a result I stayed in one location over many events; 11 lap races don't leave a lot of time for taking photos in different locations.
