ALMS at Laguna Seca

Congrats to team Corvette on the one two finish! Yan made an awesome pass for second pushing a PC car out of the way into a turn!

That's awesome! I didn't catch it. Great news for the Corvette fans. All I have to say is...."Uh-oh, they're back!"

Not ALMS specific: happy 55th opening anniversary to Laguna Seca.

"Today in 1957, [Mazda Raceway] Laguna Seca opened."

I forgot all about this post... Tux was right they are back!!

I bought my tickets today. I'll be in attendance Thurs., Fri. and Sat.

Then I'm planning on attending the historics at Sears Point the following weekend.

I'll capture a new picture for the forum's The Paddock banner. If I'm remembering correctly, you were originally looking for a picture of a garage area. If you visit Laguna Seca in Forza and drive off track driver's left a little bit before pit-in, look on the other side of the fence and you can see the garage area. I'll photograph it on Thursday, hopefully when it's not too busy.

Oh yeah! This is why I like attending a track before the event schedule really ramps up. Tomorrow's going to be a relaxing day. Not that I don't like watching Miatas, Porsches, and Prototype Lites race, though I foresee myself spending most time in the paddock and talking to the various crews. I will definitely photograph the test sessions in the evening.

I'm home, recharging batteries and downloading images. If I can post a teaser pic tonight before I go unconscious I'll edit this post. Otherwise, they'll be delayed until Monday (give or take a day) when I'm more rested.
