Grand Am at Road Atlanta

I'll be headed to RA for the Grand Am Races this Saturday. Any pic requests? In other news my Z06 is for sale if any one has an interest. I'm going back to school and can't justify keeping it without a steady income.

No WONDER he was so good with the vette during Tux's grand am series.

We had a ton of fun at the race, almost everything was open to general admission including victory lane as seen in the link below. I didn't feel like posting all the pics to the forum so I just posted the link to the photobucket album. You'll have to forgive the poor quality of the pics as I only have my phone camera right now. I took a few videos too that I'll post later.

Loved all of the pics man! Great shots, I don't think the quality is poor. I like the Jake hat and all of the Vettes. Gotta love all of the gearheads that go to races.

My brother and I are headed there this weekend with two DSLR cameras, plenty of lenses, some tripods, a monopod, and one Hero2. If only I could be in two places at once, I'd also be at the USTCC event at Sears Point.

Shots of the new GX Lotus Evora, GT3 Aston Martin TRG/AMR V12 and any continental or companion class Mopars would be cool.  Watching Team VVV on youtube do a NO ASSISTS first ever attempt at Forza 5 where he was all over the place but he loved the game so far.  Cant wait for the F1 race, Cup race at Richmond and the Laguna Seca Grand Am races!

This is how the track usually looks from the time of gate opening (7 AM) until circa brunch (11 AM). The sun breaks through at that time and then dominates the day into the afternoon. The fog regains some control and starts to roll back in after the hottest part of the day concludes (5 PM). Rinse and repeat.


Rado's Nikon D5000 paired to my Phoenix 650mm lens. For one of those, "Hey, let's try this!?" moments, it's not bad.
