Dont forget Motegi... Twin Ring is more legit than Sedona cause its a real world track. Shoot Smus gave me the idea for a mid 60s FIA Le Mans style series that has 2 classes and only 2 cars each class. Upper S class would be the Daytona Coupe and 250 GTO while the slower class would be a mid B class with the C1 Vette and the E-type Jag.

Goofin off last night with some smart cars in the A class range too with min 17in DUB style rims and max wheelbase of 95in and max of 2400lbs with power ratio of 8.0 and max of 205mm wide front tires and 215mm rears. Last night Lowrider let it be known to all that he prefers it in the rear on a few occasions... silent

Josh had a freakin sweet spec class! We could do Doc and Marty proud with 250hp DeLoreans! Only motor upgrades and everything else is bone stock! We had a 4 car draft going on Old Mulsanne last night in em! Was a blast!

So, ahem, kinda took the bull by the horns again...

Ended up going to Indy after the race this afternoon. Decided to see what these IROC cars would do.

They are as accurate to the real world as Forza will let me get. Power is right, suspension is right, and the livery is right. And boy, oh boy, are they fun to drive! Y'all will have to try these things out!

I need to get the "Mopar Performance" and "Good Year" vinyls unlocked so I can gift everyone a car. If you have 'em, gift them to me please! All the other vinyls I made. They are all pretty damn accurate, if I do say so myself...

Sim, if'n you get them there vinyls, wouldst thou send a colorful automobile my way? Methinks a lime green car wouldst be thy bomb-eth.

Me thinks that such accord could be granted, good sir. Lime-eth green you shall receive...

Seriously, these cars are a blast. ~450hp, good amount of low end torque despite being a V6, what is esentially a 4-speed transmission, stiff chassis, light weight, 185mph top speed, and best of all, Rem, the only thing that is adjustable is the diff settings and axle ratio...

Should be a blast!

I was inviting you to race while you were messaging me about the Sim livery and you ignored me so I took it as the usual sign from you that basically you hate my face and that I can go F myself sooooo...... theres that...... Rolling Eyes

Got the vinyls, and spent some time making everyone their requested car. Got it done in time let myself, Squid (who didn't run the livery I spent an hour making for him), and Stalker to run a few laps in them.

Another 'quick' racing season - Page 2 GetPhoto

We even managed to damage 'em a little bit...

Another 'quick' racing season - Page 2 GetPhoto

Then later when we were goofing around, I managed to roll mine - end over end!

Another 'quick' racing season - Page 2 GetPhoto

So far, here's who's gotten a car.

Me - Red
Squid - Blue
Rem - Lime Green
Stalker - Yellow
Tux - Black
Smus - White
Avanti - "Light Red"

If you want one, let me know. I need your color preferences, though...

You're very perceptive lol!

Either that or I didn't see an invite because I was playing GTA IV.

Also, Avanti got "light red"? Would that be pink?

Not to jump off of the IROC train too far, Stalker, Squid, and I ran 3 really short races using the SEAT Leon Supercup, one lap at the Nordschlife and LeMans, the other was 5 laps at one of the tracks I had picked out for the series. I'm not sure how the others felt, but I think it will be very close racing.

The issue that was raised was whether or not to allow tuning to the cars. They come with multiple options, including Aero, trans, and alignment adjustments, and others. Locking the tune as the factory one does limit the damage that could be done by a great tuner and great racer (although flipping the field would maybe stop that as well). Otherwise I always like being able to customize my car to make it more personal, and by locking tune the ability for people who choose to partake is limited to either a rim I choose or the factory rim, which again limits the options for adjustment to the color scheme.

Opinions?

Ceet, I am trying to go with a unique color for each driver. Looks like Smus will give up white, so it shouldn't be an issue, but for anyone else, please keep that in mind.

And very good Rem. Avanti got pink. I figured I'd let him choose the color he wants, but he never gets on here anymore, so...

Yea I liked the idea of not being able to tune the SEATs(CEETs) at all. Then with the identical cars the inversion of the field makes sense. Would make the come from the back in race two super epic to watch on replays!
