The Next Series

I think its not only time to begin discussing the next series but also for me to step up and run the next series. I have been wanting to run a ALMS GT2 series for awhile and already have a car list prepared and tested. I was thinking of continuing the Thursday night theme but I am open to other suggestions. This post is to gauge interest. If everyone is on board then reply in this thread with a car number you want. To be honest I would prefer we use the liveries the ALMS GT cars come with but if a proper looking livery is shown to me I may make exceptions. I am also toying with the idea of a multi class with GT1 cars or LMP but only if there is enough interest to make it worth doing so. Most cars will have ZERO upgraded parts but I have found it fair to homologate certain GT3 cars to increase depth of the field. The PI is very tight in this series and the cars come pretty well balanced already so it will really be up to the drivers to perform. GT2 cars all seem to handle like a dream unless it has a Porsche badge.

I have a decent car list for GT1 as well if there is enough interest in it but have not done ANY testing and the GT1 or LMP idea is just speculation at the moment. I welcome any thoughts or ideas from all of you guys but I have a vision for how I would like the series to be so keep in mind I want to remain as faithful to the GT class specs as possible. This means I have no desire to attempt adding "street" legal cars that have been heavily built to keep up with proper race cars. Hope we get to run these cars. Anytime this week I should be able to get on in the evenings to discuss or run cars.

Hellz yea, I'd like to do this, the next question is will I be able to make it...

I'm getting down to finalizing some stuff with Max on the GT/GTS race, I hope to run it before we start another series.

The final available car list is not official yet. I will say its a possibility, but not guaranteed.

I'll probably be in a Viper, though I may branch out a little a try a Ferrari of some sort...

I'm in. Hopefully I'll be able to make most of the races. I'd maybe be in the Lambo or a Porsche...whichever feels best.

Which GT3 cars work? I'd love a go in the SLS GT3

So Ive been playing with the SLS AMG GT3 and its proving a tick slow because of the weight its packing. Ive added the Z4 to go with the 2 GT3 M3s and the M3 GTRs. Im also working on how to dial in the Lotus Evora Type 124 Race Car to evenly run as well. I need some help running these cars so anybody want to help out testing some tunes????

I'm neither consistent nor good enough to test builds. But may be online tonight, if I'm awake and feeling better. Should not have taken pain pills on empty stomach.

Yea sometimes that stuff will knot the heck out of your stomach with no food but works way faster that way. Hope to see ya! Ill hop on here in about 108 laps. Its about 7:08 here so a lil over an hour. I got a ton of GT1 builds and a few new GT2 builds to balance. Mostly I want to make sure GT2 is good first though. The GT1 class is a bitch to hang onto some of the cars but all seem really fast. Hitting 1.58.flats @ Road America so far.

Car list updated for GT2. Working on a GT1 list.
