FMROC III Polls

Okay, so here are few things I'm curious about and would like some feedback on.

I'm working on some stuff, but I'd like to know which things to focus on.

Pick all of the things you like to see. If you could go for either, select both. If you are not a fan of either, select none. You can change your vote - but please try to be as honest and accurate as possible.

As far as other cars, I've built the IROC Camaro and Trans Am/Firebird. They are both faster than the Stealth in a straight line, but slower in the corners. The Camaro is a little less stable than the Stealth and the Trans Am is very, very loose. I have also considered making a new FMROC car - I am considering the Challenger, Camaro, and a few others. I will most likely post them to my storefront for you guys to help me try out.

Also, if you have any other suggestions, post them below.

I'd be curious to see either stock car (probably the bow tie) detuned via room % settings to the neighborhood of 580-600 horses. Let's face it, real IROC cars were closest to Forza's stock cars with different body panels secured to the tube frame.

Since we can't build up any chassis to tube frame race car status (which would be fuckin'-phenomenal) it's a good compromise. I may or may not participate but that's my input.

Also: If you select a stock car, Squid and Tux may stumble over themselves to race with ya.

I like that idea with the stock car.

Maybe allow both the Ford and Chevy. Then you could have a Manufacturer points too.

No, we tweaked the Flux Capacitor so that now requires 188 MPH. Thankfully the Delorean is drag limited to 181...

I've been doing some further testing of different cars. I know many of you won't believe me, but after a tweak to the Stealth, it's still the car to beat. There are a few other contenders, but I've got to do some testing with multiple cars and drivers to finalize the choice.

So, who wants to help out?

True, but it also has "race" bits, which I don't like for this series...

stock cars.

That's my sentiment … except only one so the cars are identical. GM F-bodies raced in IROC more than blue oval products so my vote would be only the Chevrolet stock car. More details in my post above.

IF we go with stock cars, it will be the Chevy. However, I doubt we got that route. I agree with Squid's sentiment about the cars having too much grip. It's just not fun. It's boring to be honest. You're not going that fast, and you're not slipping. Not a big fan myself.

You can also reduce grip... For fun, run a few laps at the figure 8 track with AI having 5 or 10% reduction in grip. Enjoy
