FMROC I Championship Standings

Here are the Championship Standings following Race 1.



Remember, this will be the starting order for Race 2.

After inverting the starting field for Race 2, the standings after the race were as follows:



We inverted these standings for the start of Race 3.

And here are the standings after Race 3:



The race for first is tight, but the gap from 2 to 3 is much bigger. It stays tight after that for a while though...

After Race 4, it's more of same - with two main groups in the standings:



Squid moved up closer to Tux and Sniper, but the rest of the pack fell further behind the leaders.

After Race 5, the race for the Championship was set - could Squid pull off the upset by maintaining his momentum for the final race? Or would Tux come through at Indy to capture the inagural trophy?



Indy is gonna be fun, as every point matters.

And here it is - the Final Standings. Tux's "play-it-safe" strategy paid off, and he held on to win FMROC Season I. Congrats Tux!



Tux will receive 5 Million credits and the DLC Code for the September Car Pack.

Squid will receive 3 Million credits and the DLC Code for a SRT-8 392 Challenger.

Stalker will receive 2 Million credits.

Sorta and Harlen will each receive 500K credits.

Tux has informed me that he wishes to pass the September DLC code to the winner of a NASCAR/Stock Car race next week. Tux will choose a track and all other conditions later. If you are interested in the code, please let Tux know so he can set up the race.

FMROC will be back in two weeks for Season II. The points will all be even, so get some extra practice in, and let's get ready to do it all over again!

Tux, I'm in. I may not win, but if it's stock setups and slower cars, I may run mid-pack or better for once

Maybe we should do the raceoff before or after a series event one Friday. As I said, I won't be on much more. I'll keep checking this thread. If it's too complicated, I could just pick someone.

Fridays are a so/so night, not as good as they were before for me. But I will try to make the races. Problem is, I have to have to have to be done by 10:30 pm EST at the latest. At that, the I have to hear it from the wife if I'm on that late.

I thought about moving to Wednesday night - same time - but didn't. Maybe the new series can do that???

I think the double header will screw me either way. It's kind of being in the Navy, you'll get it up the a** one way or another...
