How to Post to the Calendar
Okay, so you've got an event you want everyone to know about, well, you'll need to post here.
This is the Calendar of Events forum. It is here to allow you to post events to the calendar.
There are two ways you can do this:
1) You can create a post, and at the bottom of the post, below the "Send" button, there is a section called "Calendar."
2) You can click on the "Calendar" link in the header or on the calendar itself, select the date you wish to add an event to, and create a post there.
In the above mentioned "Calendar" section, you will see a date you can select, a section marked "Hour of the Event," and "During."
The "Hour of the Event" is the time the event will occur. If you do not set this, the event will start at 12am on the day you selected. This could cause a problem for some users. When you post to the calendar, the time you select as the event time is your LOCAL TIME. That is why those of you who are on the West Coast have been seeing the wrong date, as my midnight is your 10pm OF THE PREVIOUS DAY, but those in the Central and Eastern time zones have not been messed up.
Also, be aware that the time is entered in military time, so remember to add 12 hours to PM times...
The "During" is the duration, if you wish to choose one.
