"Three versions were offered for 1970 and 1971: the base Barracuda (BH), the luxury oriented Gran Coupe (BP), and the sport model 'Cuda (BS). In 1971 only, there also was a low-end model called the Barracuda Coupe, which (like other Coupe series Chrysler Corp. had in 1971) had a fixed rear passenger window and minor B pillar instead of roll-down rear passenger windows."

That's from wikipedia. Will find the article on Allpar later.

'Cudas and Barracudas were made at the same time. It was technically a Barracuda 'Cuda. Just like they make the Charger R/T and Charger R/T Road/Track now...

So the 'Cuda was at one time an option on top of the Barracuda model?

Yep. If you got anything 340 or bigger under the hood, you had a 'Cuda. Slant Six and 318 were Baracudas.

A lot of the parts won't even interchange. The K-frame is different, the suspension is different, the rear end, the brakes, the floor pans, the inner genders, you get the idea... E bodies are a mess...
