FMROC Scoring

Points will be awarded based on the IROC rules and are as follows:



In addition, 3 bonus points will be awarded to any driver who leads a lap.

Also, penalties may be assesed if needed. If clearly avoidable contact occurs with another racer that results in major damage to the other driver's car, a points deduction of -3 will be applied.

DNFs will receive points for the place in which they dropped.

DNSs will recieve no points.


Racers who drop out due to lag or other technical difficulties will receive points equal to the last place finisher through the addition of bonus points.

Points were altered slightly to keep the racing a little closer.

Due to cautions, racers who lag out will recieve points that match the last finishing racer via the addition of bonus points.

Fortunately I'm in it for fun, not to place well in the standings. If I were, I wouldn't like the look of that point structure. But, I'll give someone a run for their money for last place!

Rem, as of right now, if everyone who has a car shows up, we still won't have 16.

Regardless, I seriously doubt you will be at the back of the pack with this series...

No way man, the back of the pack is where you want to be, the battle of attrition is won way in the back out of harms way.

I wish to keep my 18 pts for finishing 4th last week please!
Even with a shattered trans (my fault entirely) I coasted across with a respectful top 5 finish.

BTW, love the series, this will be fun!
