Calling all Mopar fans!

Check this out! I'm not sure if any of you have heard, but Tommy Kendall signed on with SRT. I'm waiting for speedtv.com to fix their link. This may be old news, but I just heard on Wind Tunnel. That car looks SICK!!!

You know whats crazy is that I had been searching for awhile on any bit of info or clue as to when and where SRT would announce when they were going to officially debut the GTS-R and this is the very first I have heard of it. Cant wait for the race 2 weeks from now! I always wondered why Tommy quit racing so early. I think he will be a good addition to the rest of our team! Im excited to see just how well the preparations have gone in getting the Viper program up to speed.

Although with Roush just a few years later, he was kicking Trans-Am ass in his #11 All-Sport Mustang. Those were fun events to watch; he, Fellows, Simo, Borcheller, and others in Mustangs and Camaros. Good stuff! When time travel becomes possible, you know where to find me (watching T/A in the '60s, '70s, and '90s). I'll dress like Waldo so you can search for me in the crowd

Tommy went out on top after the '97 Trans-Am season, having broke Mark Donohue's record of consecutive wins, taking the driver's championship and Ford the manufacturers championship.

Yea thats what I meant Geoff... He went out with the record 11 consecutive wins and a 4th championship. I never really knew about the injuries though. Just remember that he left abruptly amidst kickin everyones ass.

Haha Sim it was about a week ago when I gave up searching for leaked info! Bet I was there the day before Allpar posted there story... Oh well. I would KILL Stalker for a documentary about the months leading up to their debut race and all the development in the same way that the Truth In 24 was made. Would be great and plus then I wouldnt have to hear Stalker gush over his BF Gary anymore! WIN WIN
