AIX-Class Build Requirements
All builds must be submitted for a technical inspection to the Race Steward (Avanti 63r1025) upon completion. Any build not having gone through the tech inspection will be deemed ineligible to race.
Builds are due to the Race Steward by 9PM EST, on the Monday preceeding any event, unless expressly stated otherwise.
Build alterations are allowed at any time, but altered builds must go through another technical inspection, and must be submitted by the deadline to be eligible.
Changes to aerodynamic components, exterior body panels, or rims do not require a second technical inspection unless they effect the weight of the vehicle.
--------------------------------------------------
Also, note these excerpts from the real American Iron rules book and the given exceptions:

- All AIX-class cars are required to have a rollcage, so you must include the "Race Chassis" upgrade.
- Full "Race" upgrades are allowed and recommended.
- Engine swaps are allowed, as well as the addition of a forced induction system.
- Tire width is unlimited, but rims are limited to 18" in diameter unless expressly stated otherwise (to allow for FM4's lack of rim downsizing on modern cars). "Race" slicks are allowed, but "Drag" slicks are not.
Also, note these excerpts from the real American Iron rules book and the given exceptions:
- For more competition in this series, AIX-class cars are limited to a weight-to-horsepower ratio of 6.5:1 [lbs/hp], and a weight-to-torque ratio of 6.0:1 [lbs/ft-lb.
- The minimum weight requirement for 8-cylinder (or larger) engined vehicles is 2700 pounds. For 4- or 6-cylinder engines, the minimum is 2400 pounds.
- The minimum ride height is 4," unless expressly stated otherwise.
