Also, if any y'all are thinkin' about runnin' the Corvette or Ferrari... I have a slighty used Grand Sport and an unused F430 (a gift from Ferrari themselves) in my garage. If you want them, let me know. I'll just gift them to you, parts on or off... your choice. Sponsorship is up to you though

All's not well in the Mazda camp (at least not in the road racing division anyways) so I'm leavin' the RX-8 for the Corvette

Not an official announcement: I just threw a preliminary tune on the RX-8 and it is nice; that little car can scoot! The car weighs less than 2500 pounds, so following the Euro. line of thinking (soft springs larger sway bars) is definitely the way to go. It also helps to lower the differential's locking percentages. Usually with less power you can raise its locking percentages though with as light as this thing is, it helps to have that diff. break open and become a one-legger once in awhile. It's true the car needs a touch of finesse and the precision of a surgeon's hands though I've managed to tame its desire to spin like a top.

I'm still on board for up coming series save me a spot on roster. Still testing and tuning each ride.
Will commit to car when deadline is made. Each car has it's own virtue or flaw. At times I think Mustang would be last car of choice, then I run it at a track like Atlanta and it flys. Never thought it would be so tuff to choose a ride.

Seems that old habits die hard..... That and the Mopar Mafia let me know what the family does to the knees of deserters and I like me knee caps so....



And Smoose, it seems we may not be all part of the Mopar banner this season but we atleast share a sponsor......

Tux, just in case you missed it in my other thread, I am locked in with the Simcik Racing Shiner Bock Dodge Viper SRT-10 ACR HVAC TPMS ATM FTW - wait, I think I got lost there somewhere. Sorry, still new to this sponsor thing.

It is going to look really, really good when I take my first podium and the magical floating had that suddenly appears after each race hands me a hat and a Shiner with the label facing the camera. Should be a big hit with the kids!

Anyway, I'm in with the Viper - 100%. Glad to see Squid stuck to his roots, and I hope y'all like the look of the back of the car, 'cause y'all will be chasin' (at least) two all season long.

Sim you forgot Tampax and I assume you wanted to race in the Kotex Kup Series but were forced out due to conflicting series and car sponsorships. We need to get on Forza sometime and work out some team logo since we seem to be carry the Mopar banner this season.

Absolutely. I've got a few different sponsors (ok, i was bored and made a bunch of designs), and ironicly enough, I've got Johnnie Walker as one of mine, along with Strongbow, which is a wonderful dry cider...mmmmmmmm...

Watch out for the drunks in the Astons swerving all over the tracks. I'm gonna go make sure my Hans and Simpson gear is good
