I only wanted to address the number placard placement. This is your series so you may rule how you wish and I know military folk like uniformity though I wanted to showcase real life examples.

Here is last year's rule book and below is a quote from page 67.
IMSA and ACO wrote:Assigned car number panels: Three total, one on each side and one clearly visible from the front; side number panels shall be affixed on a flat and vertical surface, must be situated between the front and the rear wheels (as depicted in Figure 1 below) and must remain visible in all circumstances.
