What DAYS?

I want to discuss the DAYS in which I would like to run the races/practice/qualifying in this thread. I live on the east coast so my time zone is Eastern US (GMT-5). Having said that, I am aiming to run this series at night and am flexible. But only so flexible, as I am a parent. I would say that 9PM EST would be the earliest anything would start, and 10PM EST would be the latest (if there's a small difference, I'll try to work it out). Let's discuss which DAYS may work best for everyone and I'll try to accomodate. I plan on having the races last about as long as our American Iron races (35-60 minutes).

The 9:00 start times work pretty decent for me, that usually leaves a little bit after the race to calm down before bed time.

What days Rem?

Assuming AI keeps its Friday night time slot, and a probable similar length to the Toledo season, I suggest Sunday nights. That should mean that no one is working, or missing any critical TV shows/games/races, so we should be able to have a good crowd.

Problem with Sunday nights is that I would be missing some things. Just list any day that you could and would race. Don't worry, I'm not starting this series until after American Iron ends.

Yes, but AI Season 2 needs to be considered too.

If we do a weeknight, I would push for the later start time.

If everybody that's doin' AI is doin' this too wouldn't that mean AI would have to wait anyways? So why not take the AI time slot? Like once the AI season ends, this season starts and conversely once this season ends the next AI season would start.... kinda like tradin' spots in the draft

Just post the days you would like to run. I'll try to consider everything. If Sunday is your only day Sim, then I'll take note.

Any day ending in Y. Thursdays I run in a series on iRacing but other than that, it's pretty open.

Im free most days...weekdays work...weekends work i can adjust my schedule...and the wife will just have to be happy...lol

I wouldnt be opposed to a day other than friday however.

I can do A.I. season 2 after a little down time unless everyone wants to get right back on the horse? I hosted: a C.M.C. season, a Car & Driver series, and A.I. #1 and can take some breather time between season 1 and season 2.

If Tux wants to put Grand-Am in the Friday night 6p Pac. / 9p Eas. time slot from April until _____, I could get season 2 started in May-ish on a different date. Alternatively, we can race an unofficial A.I. season (6 - 8 races) at the same time as Grand-Am and fit A.I. around Tux's series.

After this school quarter ends (end of the month) I might take a "vay-cay." I am strongly considering selling my Volvo, flipping that for fiberglass parts & paint, and spending 60-90 days in southern Maine with my dad restoring the St'ker. If I'm "gettin' up there" in age, my dad is "gettin' up there" in age too. I want to get the car done because I know he wants to drive it more. If When I go I'll take the XBox and will have computer access too.

How many races are you planning Tux? AI could restart shortly after this depending on the number if races.

Not sure yet. Nothing is set in stone. I'm thinking at least 12.

If I had to choose specific days I'd say Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday afternoon through evening work the best for me

well the latest i can leave for work and still be on time is 10p.m./central time. so any time before that works for me

I think you know I want to keep on racing with everyone in Alms coming soon. Any day works for me just need same start time or little later. Summers sun keeps me out on business till 7-7:30pm. Will post with proper thread car.... Number can still be #2

The times aren't set yet Harlen, however we should be able to accomodate you. Also, if you're officially in, post here your number and car. If you haven't decided on the car yet, just post your number. I'll reserve #2 for now.
