Randy seemed to really love the 1LE and I remember about a couple weeks ago Car and Driver had a shootout with that Camaro and they said they liked it better than the ZL1. Why the heck didnt Motortrend attempt to get a Boss from elsewhere I wonder? It seems that GT track pack car was way out classed by the Camaro.

Just thought I'd share. I restrained myself from trolling this time though. I thought the 2 were a pretty good matchup price wise. I think the Boss would beat the 1LE though.

MT is about as serious and objective in their reviews as Top Gear - err, on second thought, Top Gear is far better...

I think the 1LE should really have been a Z/28. It also could use a bit more power. That way you have a true Z/28 with more power over the standard V8 camaro, and the handling stuff. Then it really would be a Boss contender.

The 1LE might be on par or slightly better than the Boss in the turns, but the Boss will eat it in the straights with the extra RPM and HP.

I wish Chevrolet would bring back the Z/28 moniker. I also wish they'd further go retro and cease with this craze of using the 6.2L and put a 302 G.M. in said new Z/28.
