Players are on the move.
Keeping track of what's happening in the NFL is going to make your head spin.

Who's where?
What?
Where did he go?
Why?
He signed with what team?
For how much?
Damn!

A little preview

The 49ers took some player losses but look to be loading up, not for bear, but for multiple prides of lions. The 49ers front office prefers the belt-fed M-249!
The Ravens re-signed Joe Flacco and took a huge hit to their salary cap. So much for signing other high-dollar players.
The Saints and Redskins are up against the salary cap. It's like they need to adapt SAFeR-metrics.

Related note: SABeR-metrics stems from the Society of American Baseball Research / Bill James digging deeper into ballplayer stats / Billy Beane teaming with Paul DePodesta / Moneyball / Acquiring the absolute best player you can at a bargain price, hoping he improves to phenomenal status so other teams will pay or trade big for him at a later date.
With the salary cap in place, the NFL needs a 'SAFeR-metrics' and a handful of teams need to adopt that line of thinking.

The Jennings deal is solid for the Vikings...they need weapons for Ponder really as a check as to how he will perform in his final year...if he fail miserably then he will be gone, if not then I'm sure they'll keep him around. With someone like Jennings and a 1st round WR there will be no excuses.

I was interested to see that Steven Jackson went to ATL...as rumors had that he might go to GB and the Pack needs a RB something fierce.
