Would be fun for a day or two maybe... then it would collect dust after that.

No doubt. I know I would get bored driving the speed limit.

Yeah, that's what's nice about 18 Wheels of Steel: American Long Haul, you're limited by power and load and such. Trucks can be governed, mine at Schneider was limited to 60 when I used cruise control, 63 if I had the pedal to the floor. I might have to bust out American Long Haul now lol

Hahaha! I always thought Hard Truck wasn't hard enough. I hated that It said I was going 75 and it only took 5 minutes to get from Dallas to Denver... And the turns were way to sharp for an interstate. And the AI sucked worse than Forza's.

Actually the AI in American Long Haul is pretty comparable to Forza. Except in ALH when you hit the AI they actually move, rather than punting you across the road. The Euro game is ok, but having the truck limited to 55mph gets old in a hurry. No matter what, the roads can never be as big as real life, if they don't scale down the interstate system people won't play it, because most people don't want to sit for hours on end, despite the fact that that is what truck driving is about. I drove truck, and it can be boring at times, but it's a lifestyle. I would play a truck game that took stuff to like 1/3 scale or something, but hard to say for how long. I mean, to go from Wisconsin to Texas would take what, 12 hours of driving for me? Scale is a hard thing to do and please people. But for the cost (ValuSoft sold their truck games for $20) it's a very worth while game.
