Road America...
So yeah, Road America. I can't wait to get home in a couple days and start going through the pictures of today. And a couple weeks ago. We went to the LeMons race a couple weeks ago, and found out about the Sunset Cruise event today, where for $20 you get to get out on the track at a pace speed for 3 laps. Hopefully the pictures turned out good, the camera, even being an expensive one, seemed to like to focus on the crack in the windshield. Stupid Pizza Hut.

Well if I weren't at a hotel, I could upload a few... And stupid Pizza Hut is from the insider info that they charge delivery charge to cover "maintenance costs" but they don't give the drivers anything to maintain their vehicles. They give you a little bit of gas money, but it's not enough most of the time. As well as they pay $5.25 when you're on the road. And the reason for this rant? Because my windshield (formerly new) got a stone on a delivery, and it cracked half way up the windshield before I got to my delivery, and they refused to do anything to help me get a new one. So I still have a cracked windshield.

I actually preferred the cheesy bites pizza, but what a pain in the butt they are to make! Seriously, it takes a minute or two (doesn't sound like much, until dinner time) to make one, and people tended to order multiples. But delicious, with that garlic butter spray and then there was some powder you'd dust on the crust... Mmmmm. Oh, I don't have many pics of it, but we went off-roading at Road America tonight. It was a blast! Due to the off road nature of the course, and the extreme bumps, we put the camera ($500 camera) away nice and snug for the ride, so just a couple pics of the machines themselves.

Ok, to give a sample of the pictures taken. Keep in mind, an expensive camera does not make anyone a decent photographer, and this point was illustrated perfectly by my wife's pictures
And, of course, I had to have a picture taken of me taking a drink of soda while driving 50mph on Road America...

Re: Road America...
^^^^^ That was all Friday night. Saturday night they were having an event where you could go off-roading on some trails carved through their 640 acres that Road America owns. After a few short minutes on the trail, at the first stop, we put the camera away. Again, expensive camera. Next time (I'm hoping to do this again this year) I hope to borrow Avanti's GoPro to get video of this, as it was very much fun.
After a bit we went down a nearly vertical hill, and stopped for a few. The guide asked if anyone wanted to go UP the hill, then back down it. Being nearly vertical, a few people volunteered. I grabbed my camera and snapped off a few while my wife was going for a ride.
The hill doesn't really look all that steep by the pictures, but you'll just have to take my word for it I guess. So yeah, there's those pics you wanted to see! I'm hoping to hop on Forza later tonight to drive RA at a bit faster of a clip than 50

Don't know if they do or not, would be interesting for sure. There were a few parts that in rain or immediately after rain I'm not sure they could do, but then again I didn't know they could do what we did lol

Rem. I still have your information. As soon as you know, let me know which weekend you're thinking of going again. I'll send the GoPro to you.
