FMROC Basic Rules
FMROC races will pit drivers against each other on a level playing field. For the FMROC I season, all drivers will drive a spec'd Dodge Stealth. This Stealth will be equipped with mostly non-tunable components. Those that are tunable should be left alone. In otherwords, THERE WILL BE NO TUNING. Period. This is to ensure that every driver has an equal opportunity to finish first and almost guarantees that the racing will be close from start to finish.
The Stealth has an upgraded engine with just over 450 horsepower and torque and has had the differential adjusted to simulate a 4-speed transmission. Please note that the car actually has a 6-speed. IN NO CASE is a driver to shift past 4th gear. (If you do, you will have no power, and will face a penalty if caught.)
The cars are built to resemble the Dodge Avenger's used in IROC XVIII and XIX, and an appropriate paint scheme will be required. Once colors and numbers are picked, a design will be made for each driver and sent to them. This scheme will be used for the entire season.
FMROC races will feature about 45 minutes of racing in most cases, and will include a Competition Caution. All races will be rolling-start. Running order will be determined by Championship Points standing. In the case of a tie, the driver with the highest average finishing position will be awarded the tie-break. The first race's running order will be determined by the "Random" grid placement option in FM4.
Damage will be set to "Simulation," so keep your nose clean.
There will be no ABS, TCS, or STM.
