Rum Runners, Bootleggers, Smuglers, the whole lot!

YEEHAW Boogity Boogity Boogity, Lets Go Racin Boys!!

Simple idea, all 1940 Ford DeLuxe Coupes, but make it like the old bootlegging days. Long tracks, long stints, no pits, no cautions, just some good honest slow as hell racing. The SEATS are cool, they handle like they're on rails, but it would be awesome to see a bunch of these old cars tearing up some tracks. Took one around the Nordschlife, Road America, and Le Mans, race like 50 miles each time. The idea is to simulate running booze like the old days. Attempt to do the best at recreating the cars they used, with the technology available, to create some pokey but close racing.

Here's the build that I think would be fun

Engine:
Sport Air
Race Intake
Sport Carb
Sport Ignition
Race Exhaust
Sport Cam
Race Valves
Race Displacement
Race Pistons
Stock Cooling
Street Flywheels

Suspension:
Street Brakes
Sport Springs
Street Front Sways
Street Rear Sways
Sport Chassis
Race Weight

Drivetrain
Street Clutch
Race Trans
Stock Driveline
Sport Diff

Tires
Stock Compound
185 Fronts
185 Rears

Rims:
American Racing Torq-Thrust M
American Racing Outlaw II
Crager Smoothie
Crager Street Lock D
Crager Super Sport
Mickey Thompson Classic Lock

Aero
Anything but Forza Front and Rears...want bumpers? Go for it! Don't? Don't!

Tracks would be (all subject to change!)

Le Mans Old Mulsanne - 6 laps
Maple Valley Full -17 laps
Nordschlife - 4 laps
Road America -12 laps
Fujimi Kaido - 5 Laps

Maybe add some others that are kinda weird, like

Rally di Postiano with the tight track and weird surfaces
Camino with the mountain views
Bernese Alps again because of mountians

Livery would be super simple, just a number and youre good to go. Maybe a sticker here and there but thats it...really basic.

Is there a 40 Ford Deluxe Coupe in game? If it's DLC I'll get it once this comes to fruition, I love this idea! I'm at my best with the slower cars, ask Squid or 0351 lol

Sweetness. Well then if this becomes an actuality with more than one or two people running this, I'll get either the car or the pack, can't remember what pack has the Transit Van with it cheers

I'm gonna throw it up on the big board, see if there is any more interest on there. I'd love to do this.

I think it will...I just had to make 1 adjustment to the formula...throw on the supercharger option, the normal roots type not the centrifugal, put it up to I think race level? that bumps up the speed from 3.0 to like 3.6. gives a little more speed while keeping the flathead V8, and makes them a little more difficult to drive.
